The location was convenient to a concert and after- party (so a late night). I was only intending to sleep and shower here. In SF, this is a good value. Rooms not facing the street are quieter. My bathroom had been nicely remodeled, and overall, the room was clean and comfortable. There's limited but free parking on- site; huge bonus in this city! I walked to a nearby restaurant, Son & Garden, to treat myself to the most incredible breakfast I can recall having. I'll definitely consider staying at this Rodeway Inn Civic Center again!

Parking is free and off the street (but not in a secure garage) We picked this motel for that fact alone! Many people have commented on dirty and smelly stairs. I didn’t find that-it’s old and the stairs are outside-ish (not covered) so they are bound to be worn and torn. The inside of the rooms are all renovated and clean, we were very confortable. The front door staff were really nice too.

Air conditioning, the bath tub was a good one , the towels were good, it was a good size and a value for the cost. I also liked the staff, especially the night lady who was helpful and actually tried to make things easier instead of difficult or impossible like most other places do.

I had a great time staying there! The staff were really nice and helpful. Parking (which is inside the building) was safe and available for guests. The rooms were clean and nice. Plus, having an elevator in the building made it convenient to bring your luggage up to your room.

Antoni

Perfect location next to one bus line and close to many things worth seeing. No fear for the homeless as others suggest, they are on the other side of Van Ness where you catch the bus. Clean and comfortable and a free parking ! Perfect !
